Pewaukee School District:
"The Little Engine That Could"

A recent Blogrige article focused on Wisconsin's own Pewaukee School District - one of only three Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipients for 2013 in the country, and the only one in the field of education. The piece quotes District Superintendent JoAnn Sternke as saying "We're a small organization that has become very focused on using the Baldrige Criteria to help us improve. We're the little engine that could."  We are proud to have played a role in the success of Pewaukee School District, a 2010 recipient of the Wisconsin Forward Award at the Excellence level. Dr. Sternke will be share the District's story in a plenary session at our annual Excellence at Work Conference, set for March 12th at the American Family Conference Center in Madison.

Don't Miss Out on the Fun!

What if there was an easy, even fun, way to improve employee engagement, workplace climate and organizational success?

The FUN Theory is an initiative of Volkswagen and is based on the idea that something as simple as fun is the easiest way to change people's behaviors for the better.  In a breakout session at the 2014 Excellence at Work Conference entitled Is Your Workplace Missing Out on the Fun?Scott Lopez, Director of Human Resources, will illustrate how CUNA (Credit Union National Association) has utilized The FUN Theory model to take their workplace to new heights.
