A Borrower Story
Jim Bowser hadn't had a cat since childhood. When he and his wife moved to an old farmhouse in central PA, they quickly found that their new property was considered the perfect place to drop off unwanted cats. Not having the heart to turn them away, Jim and his wife have accumulated nine cats and one bewildered dog over the years, and have become self-proclaimed "crazy cat people."
Jim recently wrote to thank us for helping him acquire hearing aids, and shared this story:
"About a year ago a very tiny, starving little kitten was dropped off and we nursed her back to health. Every night when I came home from work she was waiting at the top of the stairs, and I would see her open her mouth and stretch her head out to be petted. Now, for the first time in my life, I can hear her meow. This may not mean much to a lot of people but I can't tell you how much it means to me. I still don't understand what she's saying but at least I can hear her! Thank you for that ability."
We couldn't be happier for you, Jim!
