AUTISM, PUBERTY AND ONE FAMILY'S STRUGGLE TO RAISE THEIR TEENAGE SONS
Alexander Brown swings back and forth on a makeshift hammock bolted to a wooden beam in his living room. The swaying seems to soothe the otherwise uneasy 14-year-old. His mother gazes at him from the couch and their eyes briefly connect.
"I would love to be in Alexander's head just for a few hours," said Diane Brown, her head slumped against her hand. "He's having a hard time going through puberty right now."

Bring the ABLE Act to Pennsylvania
|
Senate Bill 879, which would let Pennsylvania begin offering ABLE savings accounts to people with disabilities and their families, has great energy behind it right now. The bill passed the Senate with bipartisan, unanimous support.
In order to make ABLE savings accounts available in Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania House now needs to vote on Senate Bill 879. We need you to contact your Representative, tell him/her how being able to save for community living expenses is important to you.
