 Royalty Visits Houmas House!

On May 31st Houmas House hosted thirty queens for tea. These women are contestants in the upcoming Miss USA pageant on June 8th at 8:00 PM on NBC. Inclusive of this group was our very own, Miss Louisiana. It was fun day filled with posing under the oaks, strutting through the gardens, and of course having an elegant tea. We wish all the contestants good luck!

Introducing Queen Grace

As Seen by Queen Grace, formerly Princess Grace

Finally, my day has come to be pronounced Queen! This week I hosted thirty lovely women participating in the upcoming Miss USA pageant. We had a royal tea in the new Carriage House Restaurant.  My, oh my it was a beautiful affair!  I have to say, these ladies were not only beautiful but also charming and fun. I wore my diamond necklace and a new hat. The ladies wore fabulous hats and were dressed in bright colors.  They spent the afternoon taking pictures in the gardens, exploring my mansion, and enjoying tea.

But, the best part of the day was when the reigning Miss USA crowned me as Queen.  You can see here I'm wearing the ACTUAL crown coveted by every lady in this room!  Isn't it becoming?

I will remember and cherish this day always.  Thank you to all who came to visit me for tea...and good luck in the upcoming pageant.

 Love,

Queen Grace
