[harondaddy] MarkZ - Would like to know if you are aware of the new treasury currency notes. I have heard from sources that the new notes were actually printed back in May 2009. I know there are some gurus who still beleive that TRN are not currency. Can you confirm that the TRN will replace the FRN?

The Year of Changes in Iraq Including the Iraqi Dinar.

It is amazing that Iraq has stood up to the many distractions that has come its way this year. From the breakup of the Shia party which marginalized Maliki's ability to pass the 2014 Fiscal Year Budget by majority, to a successful election month which saw the completion of the third parliamentary elections since the Iraqi constitution was written in 2005, but causing at the same time the highest death tolls witnessed on record since 2006. All these and more Iraq has stayed solid and strong.
The Iraqis continue to want more out of their leaders and this was proven when 60% of the registered voters went to the polls on April 30th despite al-Qaeda violence and an impressive 70% showed up to vote for change in the worst terrorist active Anbar province.

Policy makers in some of the world's largest economies are facing a difficult challenge: Exchange-rate movements are starting to undermine their efforts to achieve a robust and lasting recovery.

Exchange rates can help and hinder countries' efforts to make their economies more competitive and to address trade and financial imbalances. They act primarily by changing the price of "tradable" goods and services that can be sold across borders -- such as automobiles or software development -- relative to those that can be produced and consumed only at home, such as haircuts.

What I am trying to tell you is the reinstatement does not really matter in the eyes of who is really controlling the rollout. It was an attempt by the IMF and Iraq to bypass the USA in this process but without any success. Remember the IMF has taken control over this rollout process but really how much control do they have? Who is really running this rollout process?

The recent Iraq reinstatement was thought to put a fire under the USA to stop this stalling and complete the process. It was not successful.

The powers in the USA who have control over the final rollout are bent on stalling as long as they can and will continue to stall until legal action is taken against them either by the international community or within the judicial system of the US government. We will not see this RV until this happens.

I come to you today to write this news letter and to express an amazement of more information that has come to light. As you know there has been an ongoing investigation on these matters of the USA stalling the rollout of the currency revaluations. Now these corrupt practices could become public in the near future.

Today's News

If you have been following my recent couple news letters you know that there are some unethical and now illegal dealings going on with this IQD international rollout process. The USA has control over the final steps to the process. As I have stated the controllers of this process simply do not want to end the continued bonanza of billions of dollars being made each and every time they stall the process once again. Once again I say it is not easy to give up the goose that is laying the golden eggs......lol....

SB says: May 6, 2014 at 9:48 am Can you please tell me if we need to have our IQD in an Iraqi Bank for it to have value. I know everyone has talked about running to our nearest bank to exchange currency,

but I have heard from some very good sources that you need to have your IQD in an Iraqi bank and that that is why Citi Bank, JP Morgan, etc have moved into Iraq - because they know the IQD has to be exchanged inside of Iraq.

There is an article on Iraq-businessnews.com talking about the new bills that are Anti-Forgery and how Iraq will be phasing out the old notes.

Rasheed Bank advanced study to include retired loans through the smart card

The Ministry of Finance is working to enable retirees to obtain loans at 8% interest through the Rasheed and Rafidain banks....it appears they will be eligible for loans of up to 5 million dinars.....an increase from previous years of 3 million dinars.

Economist: Iraq is a recession and unemployment is on the rise

According to Dr. Mohammed Selah, 2014 may well be the worst economic year that Iraq has ever experienced....influential aspects include the newly completed elections and the fact that the 2014 budget remains unpassed.....Selah believes the political environment to be unstable at this time and they could possibly be headed into a recession given that the government is in turmoil at this point....upwards of 80% of all investment projects have come to a halt because of the issues with the budget.
