Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives: Women and jobs post-recession
Women have had lower employment and higher poverty levels before, during and after the recession. Young women in Ontario experienced nearly double the rate of decline in their employment as young men, while more older women are continuing to stay in the workforce.
