Hedge Your Bets
in Southeastern Connecticut

The communication game is changing. Gone are the days when healthcare organizations had total control over their messages. These are the days of engagement - when conversation rules, content drives consumer choice, and what our target audiences say about us is as important as what we say about ourselves.

We're strapped for time and resources, doing our best to merge creativity with proven tactics. In this new era of healthcare, relationships with physicians, other providers, patients, employees, and the community determine our success.

While NESHCo's 2014 Spring Conference begins with some risk-free gambling lessons at Connecticut's Mohegan Sun casino and entertainment destination, it's a safe bet that your time away from the office will pay off. Gain new ideas and perspectives as you gather with colleagues and peers. Charge your batteries. Harness new energy. Network. Have some fun.

Connecticut is thrilled to host this year's event. We'll start by loosening you up over our welcoming dinner and a chance to try your hand during Casino 101. Though our tone is light, the program we've arranged is hard hitting and packed with advice and case studies from some of the sharpest minds in the field of healthcare marketing.

This year's experts will share insights on the mindset of today's patients, doctors, and healthcare workers. You'll hear American Hospital Association strategies for harnessing the interests and energies of patients... and stories of successful communication in the ever-changing world of online and social media. And, of course, we will continue our tradition of honoring New England's best healthcare communication at our Lamplighter Awards Gala.

The stakes are high and the opportunities are rich. Join us and take home a winning hand of fresh ideas and new connections.
