Marketing Workshop
for Musicians
Join the New Mexico Music Awards as they present a free marketing workshop on:
Saturday, May 3rd
1:00-3:00
at The Candyman Strings & Things

You'll Learn:
  • How to market yourself, your band, your music and your product to anyone, anywhere, anytime.
  • About branding.
  • How to market through social media.
  • How to create your own website and what content you should have on that site.
  • About Search Engine Optimization.
  • About the importance of personal contact.
  • What basics you need to have in place before you contact a film or TV music supervisor.
  • About what matters most, being out front and ahead of the pack when people come looking for what you have to offer.
This is the second in the series that they are bringing to The Candyman as part of their ongoing educational outreach program for New Mexico musicians. Additional workshops throughout the year will include topics such as Understanding Contracts, Songwriting, How to Find and Keep a Gig, Recording and Mastering Basics. Their most recent workshop, Copyright Basics was a huge hit!  Thanks to ASCAP and Ernie Ball for their support of this educational outreach.
