As the leaves fall, we shift indoors. I will be speaking at
ABX Boston and at the
City Awake Festival, and I hope to see you there.
We had a terrific season, travelling to Cornell's Johnson School of Business as a guest speaker, hosting several activities at Opening Our Doors, launching ASK, and more Rising Tides.
I am always happy to get out and talk about Creative Engagement, Cultural Agency, Climate Change Engagement, Creative Enterprises, and Social Entrepreneurship, so put me on your roster of speakers!
Warm wishes, (or should it be cool wishes?) and as always- please do one small thing for our planet today!

ENP at Cornell's Johnson Graduate School of Business -
Prof. Mark Milstein and the Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise
|
I had the pleasure of meeting with students and being the guest speaker in Prof. Mark Milstein's class at the Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise at Cornell University. The CSGE teaches Global Strategic Leadership for today and tomorrow: an innovative approach to sustainability which I found compelling. They teach students to think about sustainability as integral to everything they do, rather than as a separate content area, so they carry that mindset into whatever position they take and drive it into their company. The students were engaged, curious, and delightful (shown here with a micro design exercise we did). I look forward to returning!

"I'm a scientist - ASK me about climate change"
Our ASK scientist was on hand to talk to families on Columbus Day while they made solar lanterns or played our Memory Card game at
Opening Our Doors on the Fenway.
ASK
has had a series of outings during our pilot: at Cornell, riding on the T, at Newton Inspires, Mass Innovation Nights, and at City Awake events, talking to people and handing out our action/information cards. We will continue to deploy
ASK
through the end of the year. What have we learned so far? That there is still a huge need to help people understand that climate change is a real and urgent problem and our actions matter. And sometimes a zany hat helps.

Serious Fun-Raising for your favorite Board of Directors!
|
|
Are you on a non-profit Board? Need a GREAT holiday event? Want to build your support base?
Reward your team? Expand your benefactors? Make everyone happy?
Something new and fun: we are offering our art-making team buildings as a fundraising event. Don't tell your newest benefactors what you do - (which need not be environmental), let them experience your key messages in a new way - through a hands-on artistic exploration with some of your strongest supporters. You will all come away feeling united and recharged for a productive year ahead. We will bring everything to you - including some great foodie snacks, if you wish. Work with us to integrate this into any existing occasion you have, or as its own event.
