Dress Rehearsal Weekend Hours for Pass House & Costumes

Pass House will be open 8:00am - 5:00pm open both days this weekend. It will not be open during the week.

Costumes hours for approvals and fastrack:
Saturday: 10:00 am till 5:00pm

Sunday 11:00am (after the morning meeting) till 5:00pm

V&A and Sal's Backstages

Both the V&A and Sal's backstages are being updated and may not be completed by this weekend. Please do not plan on doing large setup there unless approved by your stage manager. Thank you!

Annex Load-In and Setup Limitations

By the end of today (Friday) the road boxes will be about 90% loaded into the Annex, but the forklift path will need to remain open until they finish. This means that Coventry Carolers, Rats in the Haggis, Crummles, Oliver Twist and parts of OtherBookistan will need to wait to set up their areas until this in completed.

Please check in with Rob Bradshaw for updates if yours is one of the affected areas.

All's Well That Ends Badly Needs Actress for Final Two Weekends

Needed: Actress to understudy and go on for Monique Woodruff as Dauphanie Dumallier in the Shakespearean Comedy "All's Well That Ends Badly". The show is on the V&A stage at 11:15 and 4:00, and we need a sub for Monique on the last two weekends of Dickens. It is done in Victorian dress. The part is the crazed Miss Dumallier, who is a fading star of the London stages (think Nora Desmond). The part is physical and hysterically funny. She also does a serious rendition of the "Out damn spot" monologue from Mac'B. This is a wonderful comedic role, and you work with a great cast.

Bay Bridge Pier E3 Implosion Saturday Morning

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Reminder: Bay Bridge Pier E3 will be imploded this Saturday morning. Currently, the plan is to close the Bay Bridge at 6:45 am, with the blast occuring at 7:03 am. The bike lanes will close at 6:00pm this (Friday) evening.

Details:

What: Implosion of E-3, the largest support pier of the old, East Span of the Bay Bridge
When: November 14, 2015
Where: San Francisco Bay, Pier E-3, old East Span
Boats diverted to 1,500 feet from area.
Bridge traffic briefly halted. In the eastbound direction: at the west portal of the tunnel. In the westbound direction: just after the toll booths where the metering lights will all be red.
Bike path closed until CHP reopens following the implosion.
Momentary BART delays.

It is planned that the bridge should reopen shortly after the explosion,but be sure to check 511.org before heading out in case things are delayed, and
when in doubt, take a different bridge.

Van Ness Avenue Closure - Between Geary and Post Streets

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Construction of a new underground pedestrian tunnel for a hospital project will cause the closure of a portion of Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco from early Friday until late Sunday. The new tunnel, located under Van Ness between Geary and Post streets, will connect the under-construction California Pacific Medical Center campus on the west side of the thoroughfare with medical offices on the east side. The street closure begins on Friday just after midnight and continues until 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
