Dear St. Paul's,
Summer's here, and we're excited to offer two new Bible Studies. On Sundays, Dean Sparks is leading a study of Ephesians, "Building a Community in Christ" by John Stott. The study is all about giving people an opportunity to come together
 as a community, discuss this letter, and learn from one another. There's no problem if you miss one of the sessions, so feel free to join at any time. The group meets at 9 a.m., just down the hall from the Children's ministry at the Surf Club.
Then on Wednesdays Martha Barrett is leading "Experiencing God" by Blackaby and King. This is a terrific video-based study
 which helps people discern God's presence and power in their lives. After watching the video, there's plenty of group discussion. Through the study you'll be better equipped to recognize where God is at work in the community, and you'll be encouraged to get on board with what God is already doing all around us. Anyone can join the study at any time. We're really pleased to offer these two excellent studies at this time, because we want people to have the opportunity to grow in their relationship with the Lord Jesus all through the year. There's no better way to grow than to "meditate on [God's Word] day and night..." through regular group Bible study and prayer. God wants you to be "prosperous and successful" in all that you do, and we know that you'll make new friends in the process. Please join us! Gratefully in Christ,

NEW SUMMER BIBLE STUDIES
New Sunday AM Bible Study
"Building A Community in Christ", a study on the Book of Ephesians by John Stott, meets at 9:00 AM in the downstairs area of The Surf Club Hotel. Dean Sparks will be facilitating the class & discussion for adults. Workbooks will be provided. Please join us!
New Wednesday Night Bible Study
"Experiencing God", a study by Henry T. Blackaby, meets on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM in the church office. Martha Barrett will be facilitating the class and discussion. Books will be available. We have space for you!

"Crafting For Christ" Group
We would love for you to join our group when we gather for fellowship and an activity (like making "chrismons" for the sanctuary Christmas tree). Whether you are a "crafty" person or not, come and meet us at The Surf Club in the children's area downstairs at 9 AM.
Please Note: The next meeting is scheduled for July 21st.

The Vestry moved to go forward with the Flamevine project.
Please continue to pray for all aspects of the planning - engineers, architects, parking, and city planning.
Please pray also for the funding of the renovations that we would be wise stewards of the resources the Lord has given to us. |
