Dr. McIvor's sermon is "A Walk and a Meal" based on Luke 24.13-35. The text takes us back to the Sunday afternoon of Jesus' resurrection. It tells how confusion and doubt among followers of Jesus was overcome by the resurrected Christ walking alongside them and sharing a meal with them. Jesus still overcomes our confusion and doubt in the same way.

 Congregational Meeting This Sunday, May 4thNext Sunday, there will be single worship service beginning at 10:00am. Immediately following the worship service, there will be a meeting of the congregation. The purpose of the meeting is to vote on dissolving the pastoral relationship of the Rev. D. William McIvor. Coffee fellowship will follow the meeting. There will not be Sunday School or Adult Education.

Spring Work Day is Tomorrow!
Please join us tomorrow between 9:00am-2:00pm for our spring workday gathering. Come pick something you're comfortable doing. There is much to do and many hands make light work! If possible, please bring your own tools to use or share. If you have questions, please contact Barry Fiske at 617-733-9166. Lunch will be provided and your help will be VERY much appreciated.

YouthServe Work Days - New Opportunities
The PCiS Youth Groups are again offering their time and services to help members complete projects around the house on May 10th. As part of this fundraising effort, you also have the choice to sponsor a teen while they work at the church on Spring Work Day.
