Version 6.01 of the gbXML schema is now available after a 2-month review period. This is the 1st update in over a year and the biggest update in a decade. The main purpose of this update is to more closely align the gbXML schema with HVACTemplate objects in EnergyPlus. Click here for more info.

We are totally revamping the gbXML website to modernize the look and make it more "responsive" to many different types of connected devices (including smartphones). We will also be adding forum functionality and blogs so as to better engage our target audience. The new website is projected to launch in January 2016.

We have recently received funding from several major organizations to perform a wide variety of improvements to gbXML including schema updates, an improved schema validator, a web-based gbXML viewer, better integration with popular energy modeling tools, and much more. Stay tuned for more details about these improvements over the next couple of months.
