Want to help CROS Bring Change? Bring your coins to be exchanged for cash for free to the TD Bank at 4875 Linton Boulevard in Delray Beach on Friday, October 23 from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.

At the end of the day, the bank will add up the total amount of coins run through the coin machine and match that amount up to $2,000. A check will be written that day and presented at the Caring Kitchen at 5:00 pm.

You also have the option to donate your cash from the coins to CROS/Caring Kitchen or keep the cash. How great is that?!
Sunday's 2015 End Hunger Walk was a
great success. Preliminary numbers totaled close to 300 walkers and $27,000 pledged. Plus, we filled 20 boxes of donated food! Thank you all who walked, cheered on the walkers, and prayed for good weather!

Community Resources

Want to make a difference locally? You can in 4 hours a week!

In just four hours a week, you can give back to our community through United Way of Palm Beach County's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. We're looking for 200 volunteers to greet and provide free tax services to those with low to moderate household incomes, ensuring that local individuals and families get their maximum refunds and credits, safely. This is an ideal opportunity for CPAs, retired professionals, college students or any individuals looking to build their accounting and finance skills. In partnership with the IRS, we train and certify our volunteers - all you have to do is complete a training and commit to four hours a week through the tax season at any one of our locations throughout Palm Beach County.

When you become a volunteer for our VITA Program, be assured that you are not only assisting thousands of residents, but you are also helping to boost our local economy. Since its inception 13 years ago, more than 105,000 returns have been processed, yielding over $167 million in refunds providing an estimated $249 million economic impact on Palm Beach County.  Last year alone, we recruited, trained and deployed 153 volunteers. Volunteer participation resulted in 6,900 hours and an in-kind value in excess of $138,579. This makes your one hour of volunteer time worth over $2,300. Talk about real value!
To volunteer contact Donna Pulda at [email protected]  or 561-375-6621.

Mission: CROS Ministries serves the hungry in Palm Beach and Martin Counties through community collaborations.
