We love Bermuda in the spring!

We know you need a full supply of shorts and skirts for upcoming weather. This cotton satin is a great weight for those and will work up in dresses or pants as well. We have two colors, Sugar Coral and Peach

Violet Crush
Blossoms rendered in shades of violet from red to blue crowd together on a deep eggplant ground. The energy in this print is palpable as the colors scatter to here and there for companions in this collection or in your wardrobe. The hand-dyed rayon batik is versatile for tops, dresses or skirts.
Trixie
printed cotton lawn

Delicate and whimsical, this small scale print on fine cotton lawn is just right for tops or dresses. A bustling crowd of blush pink circular shapes, some with holes, and half-moons seem to sit above a ground of light coral pink accented with wisps of bright green. Soft enough to provide drape for gentle details at the shoulder or waist.
Cottonball
cotton stretch jersey

When we see a cotton jersey in the marketplace, we know our customers want it. The added attraction of this pure white knit is the opaqueness. If ever there were a basic, this is it. Soft and comfortable with stretch yarns to aid recovery, this will be your go-to tee or tank this summer. Extra wide : 64 in
Noche
rayon linen

A summer basic, this black rayon/linen blend is perfect for dresses, skirts or soft wide-legged pants. With enough stability to stand up to details, this fabrication is very versatile for all your three season garments.
Byzantium
cotton jersey

This rich shade of red violet works so well with prints. Use it for all your T tops...tees, tunics, tanks, turtles. Cotton/Lycra. .
Skyrocket
silk jacquard

Some print designers just get everything right...color balance, scale, fabrication. This ecru dotted silk jacquard is over-printed with shortened strokes of teal, soft magenta and cornflower capped with yellow. Spheres of the same colors are cuddled with strawberry red arcs. Bouncing amongst the fashion colors are midnight dots of varying sizes. Whether you choose a silk shirt style blouse, a suit tank or a dress, this print will serve you well to team with black, midnight blue or one of the fashion colors.

This week from Jennifer:
Hey Everyone,
I've almost finished my Japanese Denim Jeans! ...Here are a few thoughts about working with this fabric. First of all I decided not to prewash the denim because I'm going to try to wear and wear and wear them before I wash them the first time. I'm really interested to see what kind of fade and distress details I can achieve by not washing for a LONG time...month. ...I'll be wearing them around the house exclusively after the first few time (not sure how that's going to go).....

I also posted a tutorial on how to construct the back pockets this morning. To view click here
I decided to line the pockets with the same cotton print that I used for the pocket bags and waistband facing. This is when I noticed how easy the denim was to work with. I pressed the seam allowances toward the denim side of the pocket before turning it to the right side. Because the folded allowances had a nice crease...they were almost perfect when I turned them... The corners came out nice and crisp!
As soon as I finish sewing the belt loops on, I'll post some beauty shots of me wearing my new favorite pair of jeans... I'm so excited about the fit of these jeans that I'm going to use my draft as the master for a new jean pattern
