Little Scholars Summer Camps

Believe it or not, summer is just around the corner!  We hope your little scholars will visit us this summer at some of our favorite schools including:  First Presbyterian Preschool, Millwood, St. Catherine's, St. Christopher's, and the University of Richmond (coming soon). These schools manage registration so you will need to register on their summer camp pages. You can access the summer camp registration for these schools by clicking on the school names above.

In addition to the Little Scholars' camps FPP is hosting, Little Scholars will be offering Whiz Kids, Handwriting Helpers, Girls Only Reading Group, K-2 Math Facts, Ready, Set Got to Kindergarten, and Boys Only Reading Group in late July and early August at FPP. You can register for these camps here

For more information about our camps, please visit our website or contact us at [email protected].

After School Enrichment Programs

Do you want to bring fresh, new programs to your school's learning community? Are you interested in extending your child's learning beyond the bell?

Little Scholars has hand-crafted after-school enrichment programs that appeal to students who enjoy exploring, reading, building with Legos, writing stories or drawing comics, solving math problems, and having fun with their minds while using their critical and creative thinking skills. Our classes are created and delivered by educational specialists and credentialed teachers and can be added to your school's schedule at any point during the school year. If you are interested in our after-school enrichment programs, please contact us at [email protected],  call our office at 804-447-4095, or visit our Enrichment Programs page.

App of the Month

DuoLingo

Learn a foreign language such as Spanish, French, Russian or many more for free!  This app has taken over my home.  Kids young and old will LOVE it! The Spanish teachers at my sons' school downloaded DuoLingo to reinforce their curriculum based on our recommendations.

Teacher of the Month

Nancy Molina

There are so many reasons why I love teaching, but my favorite is being able to learn with kids in the classroom.  Even though you're older, you'd be surprised what you can learn from students, and like I tell them, you learn something new every day. I love the children, their energy, and high spirits. They find a way to enlighten my day and reassure me that education is the career path for me.

We encourage you to visit Little Scholars at www.littlescholarsllc.com
