Do What You Can,

With What You Have,

With Where You Are.

Welcome to Feng Shui Emporium

I'm running a couple polls to find out where there are having challenges in our lives.  I thought it was just me and my family, but the highest percentage of the votes are focused on money, fame and/or relationships.  This is very common as we are all feeling the squeeze due to economic pressures and uncertainties.

I believe we are all actually seeking happiness and balance as they are really the true goal.  However, these pesky things called money and fame are often tied to our happiness.

One of the most popular shows on TV right now is called Duck Dynasty.  The Robertson family all work together in the family business.  They live in Louisiana and are multi-millionaires due to a product that the father, Phil, created, patented, and sold on his own.

The point of this story is they don't live like multi-millionaires. They didn't always have money, but they always had love for each other and true happiness for life.

What can we all learn from the Duck Dynasty? Maybe we can learn that money comes only after we are happy - not the other way around.

If you truly love what you do, money will come.

For me, learning about Feng Shui, getting certified in a skill is fun.  I enjoy trying new concepts and strategies with my online businesses.

I honestly enjoy receiving emails from customers of how they like or disliked the products we sell.  I even like sending out an email (like last week) that falls flat on its face - (the Lucky Cats for 25% off.)

The reason is - I learn from it.  My biggest draw in life is experiencing life as much as I can, from where I am, by using all I have.  (short from Mike Dooley's presentation).

Life is not about all the failures and disappointments we had or might be having.  Its about the lessons learned from experiencing the journey.  Each adventure and footstep forward are moments that teach and shape us into who we are or want to be.

If we pause for a moment and look around - not for money, but gaze into what makes us happy and feel alive - we may end up finding a nugget of gold setting behind it.  Not seen to us until our love is full.

For example, the Robertson family loves duck hunting and it made them happy.   Phil couldn't find a tool "duck call" that made him enjoy duck hunting more.  Phil's love for the sport and food made him pursue and build the best tool on the market for calling ducks.

After many hours of hard work and determination, the gold was revealed to Phil. The only way Phil could see the shimmering stream of gold was for him to find his love and passion for duck hunting as well as the gift and ability to create.

I would like to leave you with some excellent Feng Shui knowledge I received from Mary Jane Kasliner.  Her mini-series program: Who Wants More Money, Romance, and Radiant Health is perfect for this newsletter.

Mary Jane's way of explaining the most important concepts of Feng Shui is incredible.  She uses images and simple explanations to help bring the Feng Shui philosophy to life.
