Spring has sprung!

In case you haven't heard, the past month has been a big one for us--a new presenting sponsorship, the announcement of new stations, and some changes to our system operations. You can find the details on all of these below. Plus, spring is here, which means that ridership contests are back! Are you ready to get out and do all that biking you may have missed during the five to six days of bad weather we had this winter? We sure are.

Launch Party 2.0 recap

On Thursday, March 20th, we held a party at our new office to celebrate the first day of spring, the launch of 24/7 service and the announcement of new stations.

Alex Bogusky, Boulder marketing legend and B-cycle brand architect was our special guest speaker. For his contributions to bike sharing, we presented him with a lifetime membership to Boulder B-cycle. You can find a video of his talk about the history of B-cycle here and photos of the event on Facebook here.

A special thank you goes out to Boulder Beer and Whole Foods for providing refreshments, and to all those who attended.

24/7 access and system changes!

24-hour access has started! That's right--as of April 1st, you can now check out and return B-cycles any time you'd like, all year round. Additionally, we've made some changes to our fee structure. Check out video coverage from Inside Boulder News here.

You can find out more about these changes on our website.

(Presenting) Sponsor Spotlight: Kaiser Permanente

This month, we'd like to recognize Kaiser Permanente for their recently-announced Presenting Sponsorship of Boulder B-cycle. Kaiser's generous contribution has ensured that bike sharing will continue to thrive in Boulder for years to come. You can find Kaiser's logo on every bike rolling around Boulder, as well as at every station.

Thanks for your support, Kaiser!

April Ridership Contest:

Le Tour de Boulder B-cycle!

Do you have what it takes to visit every B-cycle station in Boulder in a single day? Prove your muster with the Tour de Boulder B-cycle and win prizes!

If you visit every B-cycle station in a single day, you'll get a free Boulder B-cycle shirt, as well as an entry into a drawing for a larger prize from our friends at Green Guru!

Here's how it works:

  1. Send an email to Kevin at kbell@boulderbcycle.org and let us know you'll be attempting the Tour.
  2. Ride to all 22 stations in a single day.
  3. Check your B-cycle in to each station you visit to track your progress.
  4. We'll verify your trips and you can come get a shirt!

Remember, there are only 22 stations now, but we're about to start growing! The sooner you do the Tour, the easier it'll be.
