Denominational Day: Alliance of Baptists
Tuesday, February 25
Several events will take place:
- Join us for community worship at 11:00am in Davis Chapel as Cody J. Sanders, co-coordinator of the Racial Justice and Multiculturalism Community within the Alliance of Baptists.
- For those students who are affiliated with the Alliance of Baptists or are interested in learning more, Cody Sanders, Paula Dempsey, and other local clergy will meet following lunch in the Lower Auditorium at 12:30pm.
- Later in the afternoon, at 3:30pm, Cody Sanders will offer a lecture on his current work in Room 302 - "Sexuality, Gender Identity and Congregations: Changing the Questions, Not the Subject"
 Writing Workshop
Tuesday, February 25, 12:00noon - 1:00pm, Wingate 301
This workshop will cover all the steps involved in writing a paper and give you effective strategies for each step. From choosing a topic, to organizing your research, to crafting a thesis. Wake Divinity Scholars Visit

The School of Divinity will host 18 prospective students this week who represent the top of this year's applicant pool. Help the Office of Admissions and Student Services welcome them to campus in Wake Div style! They'll be present in Chapel, Community Lunch, and several class sessions on Thursday and Friday.
Comparative Theology Conference

"The Promise of Religious Pluralism: Comparison and the Introductory Study of Theology" is a gathering of scholars working at the cutting edge of theological studies. Byron Fellowship: Now Accepting Nominations
The Byron Fellowship is available to 20 students and seeks to inspire leaders of the emerging generation to engage their unique abilities in leading generative efforts within their own communities. Opportunities available in Asheville, NC (takes place in August) and Indiana (takes place in May). Find out more.
Summer Ministry Internships

Lunch with Dean O'Day
During the spring semester, Dean Gail O'Day will host several opportunities for 3-4 students to have lunch with her. These "lunch with the dean" events provide an opportunity for her to get to know new and returning members of the Divinity community, and give you the chance to share your thoughts, perspectives, ideas, innovations, and comments.
