FINAL REMINDER - PGA OF CANADA DUES PAYMENT DEADLINE IS SATURDAY!
A friendly reminder to all members that payment for 2015 PGA of Canada Membership dues must be received by the National Office no later than this Saturday, November 1st to avoid late fees.

As a note, members may request a full refund (minus any late fees) for their dues should any changes occur until April 1, 2015. If you anticipate any changes for 2015, the PGA of BC office recommends members to pay their dues prior to this deadline and contact the office should you have any special circumstances.

Finally, it is reminded to all members that 2015 Membership cards will be sent to the Primary Address listed on your profile. If you have recently moved or wish to have your card sent to an alternate address, please make the changes in your profile.

POSITIONS ON THE PGA OF BC BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO OPEN FOR ELECTION IN EARLY JANUARY.
Up to six (6) positions on the PGA of BC Board may be available for election in January's Board Election. The exact number of positions and regional representations will be determined shortly, based on the composition of the Board's upcoming Executives.

Interested PGA of BC Class "A" Members employed within the Golf Industry are encouraged to begin thinking of these positions in advance. Requirements and Expectations of Directors are as follows:

Requirements for the position include, but not limited to:

- Attending 4 PGA of BC Board of Directors meetings per year (3 in person, 1 conference call)

- Attendance at PGA of BC Annual General Meeting (February 16, 2015) 

 

Expectations for the position include, but not limited to:

- Participation in one or more PGA of BC Tournaments

- Attendance at PGA of BC Spring Education Seminar & One or more Education Series Events

PGA OF BC HONOURS 2014 AWARD RECIPIENTS
In a special ceremony at Richmond's River Rock Casino Resort, the PGA of BC honoured the best in the Association for the 2014 season in front of a sold out crowd. Sixteen awards were dispersed to PGA of BC members and partners, recognizing excellence and leadership in the golf industry.

Amongst the Honoured Recipients were:
