October- The Heart Knows
An evening of site-specific, multidisciplinary works, created by female artists centered on love, loss, and longing, staged promenade-style in our 107 year-old performance space at Ebenezer Lutheran Church.
Performances include, CDE's Founder, Ellyzabeth Adler, RE|Dance, J. Lindsay Brown Dance, Mignon McPherson Stewart, VADCO| Valerie Alpert Dance Company, and musician Michelle Shafer with CDE's Artistic Director, Sara Maslanka.

March- Bindis and Bruises & Encuentros
Bindis & Bruises, conceived and choreographed by Priya Narayan and directed by Ellyzabeth Adler, brings awareness and hope to domestic violence issues to offer solutions for change.
A fusion of classical Indian dances, Bharatanatyam and Kathak, religious Hindu storytelling with elements contemporary dance and text, production workshops will include universities and domestic violence shelters. Also, each performance features a post-show talk-back. Check in with

Encuentros
Encuentros, choreographed by Silvita Diaz-Brown integrates dance, sound, text and acrobatics to explore personal encounters and the journey a couple takes, along with gender equality within the patriarchy.

May- A Piece of My Heart by Shirley Lauro
CDE Fellow, Victoria Alvarez-Chacon directs A Piece of My Heart by Shirley Lauro in May and June for a six-performance run. This powerful, true drama of a trip to Vietnam by six women before, during and after her tour in the war torn nations and ends as each leaves a personal token at the memorial wall in Washington.
A Piece of My Heart premiered in New York's Manhattan Theatre Club, and now has enjoyed over 1,000 productions in the US and abroad, and was recently named, "the most enduring play on Vietnam in the nation," by The Vietnam Vets Association.
