Program Intern

This internship position is responsible for support Seattle Works' day-to-day programs while assisting data management, program evaluation, and development.

Bridge Faculty  

 

Our faculty of trainers assist with the development and delivery of The Bridge: Board Training while also serving as an advisory committee and ambassadors for program outreach. We are currently seeking trainers that have expertise in nonprofit governance, public boards & commissions, fundraising, and/or nonprofit financial management.

The Bridge: Board Training

Pull up a seat at the nonprofit table and join The Bridge: Board Training. You'll learn all the basics of what it takes to join a nonprofit board, and potentially get matched to one of our nonprofit partners looking for new leadership.

Do you use our monthly calendar of volunteer opportunities? Each of those Hot Projects is led by a volunteer leader who welcomes participants and coordinates with the nonprofit staff member.

Join us a Hot Project Coordinator! We'll give you all the tools and training necessary to kick-start this essential Seattle Works' leadership role!

Debra Webb's has fifteen years of experience collaborating with leading artists, government agencies and diverse communities to develop arts-based initiatives that enrich and advance humanity.

She recently published Placemaking and Social Equity: Expanding the Framework of Creative Placemaking and is the proud recipient of Seattle University's Social Justice and Community Engagement award.

NoHomelessKids Benefit Luncheon
Thurs, 5/8 noon-1pm | Vision House (Bellevue Hilton 300 112th Ave SE) | FREE, donations encouraged 

  

Join Vision House for our one-hour, annual NoHomelessKids Fundraising Luncheon.  Proceeds benefit homeless families working towards self-sufficiency. Over 800 men, women and children have benefited from Vision House services. Our goal is to coordinate successful re-integration of residents into the community through adequate housing, counseling, child care, food, clothing, education and vocational training, life skills development, employment, etc.

Aaina - South Asian Women's Festival 2014

 Aaina, which in Urdu means mirror, celebrates the artistic work of and about South Asian women. This year's festival includes film, visual and performance art, speakers, and conversations aimed at highlighting issues relevant to South Asian women
