Our Community

Here at YVSC, community is the center focus of what we do -- our events are free or nominal, and they're always anchored with our mission to educate on and help sustain what we care about most in the valley -- our environment, our neighbors, and our economy.

Our upcoming events show our dedication to these foundations of community. Keep reading below to learn more.

But what you don't see in these newsletters is what we do behind the scenes.
Our Sustainable Schools is one of my favorite programs because while it doesn't get a lot of recognition, I know our work is supporting sustainability as a foundation for future generations.

Our successes of late include a grant to fund a new curriculum that will bring our ReTree Program to high schools in Northwest Colorado, fostering a connection with the forests that we all treasure.

In addition, our work with the city and county on the various topics of sustainability are on a road that we hope lasts for decades. I implore you to show your support for these topics and funding them during the upcoming political season.
