Coming from a Podium finish at Daytona just a few weeks back, Wright Motorsports has focused on their next event: 12hrs of Sebring.
First you will notice many changes for this 2014 season with Wright Motorsports. After Daytona, a technical partnership was reached with Rum Bum Racing to field Madison Snows 2014 Tudor United Sportscar Championship GTD class entry. Wright Motorsports will assist in a technical capacity concerning items such as engineering, chassis set up and vehicle dynamics.
In addition to supporting Madison Snow and RUM BUM Racing with the GTD class Porsche, Wright Motorsports will field no less than 5 IMSA GT3 CUP Challenge entries at the Sebring 12hr/IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge double header event in March.
There are some new as well as very familiar faces in the WM lineup.
Kasey Kuhlman, long time veteran of the series will return and campaign the new Porsche GT3 CUP type 991 running in Platinum class.
John Baker and John Ellis will continue to run the WM flag and both have freshened Porsche 997 Cups to challenge their gold class rivals.
New to the team:
Santiago Creel, Kristin Treager and Michael Schein.
Santiago Creel will compete in Platinum Class with his new Porsche 991 Cup, appropriately themed with his home countries MEXICO livery.
Kristin Treager will continue with her long time livery of a white tiger which we have incorporated on her new Porsche 997 Cup to run in Gold Class.
NY native and neighbor or John Baker, Michael Schein comes to the team and will field his new Porsche 991 Cup car in the Platinum Class.
