Eat Green, Think Green,
Go Green!

While National School District is on summer break, Olivewood Gardens and the Lincoln Acres Library have collaborated to launch an offsite cooking and gardening class! This program targets some of the students in our field trip program, but is also open to all families in the Lincoln Acres community. Meanwhile, back at Olivewood, volunteers and staff are working hard to prepare for the students' return in August.

Thank You Frank, Matt,
and Rovie!

Thank You Seedling Soire Supporters!

On behalf of the Board of Governors of Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center, the staff, and the thousands of children and families that visit Olivewood Gardens each year, we would like to sincerely thank all of the guests, sponsors, chefs, volunteers, and businesses that supported our Seedling Soire garden gala on June 8th.

The evening was very special: with presentations given by "Guerilla Gardener" Ron Finley and Olivewood Gardens' "Kitchenista" and volunteer Patty Corona-Morales and her daughter Jazmin; as well as spectacular craft cocktails, unique food, farm-inspired dcor and a beautiful garden atmosphere.

Through the many donations, sponsorships and Wish List items that were pledged before and during the event, we are happy to announce that we reached our goal of raising $75,000 for the garden-based education programs here at Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center. Thank you!
