Want Your Kids to Worry Less?
HoveringSometimes parents can create anxiety or worry in children by not trusting them to navigate and problem-solve on their own. Try not to hover over your children, or put your worry on them. Give them confidence that they can work through struggles and help them learn that mistakes are how we learn. Point out when you make a mistake and set a good example of how you worked through it.

Visit a Farmers' Market

SNAP

Meet the farmers, ask questions and see what grows in our region throughout the summer. Did you know that the Portsmouth, Exeter and Dover Farmers' Markets accept SNAP/EBT cards? Click here for more information. Chart what's at the market each week to see how it changes from May to September! If you can, plant something of your own and watch it grow. Kids who know about and love the outdoors are more likely to invest in preserving it.
