ONLINE

Dabbling in the Arts

...'Let your fingers do the walking'

"Before there was Google, before Yahoo!, before the Web, when consumers wanted to find a local fingers do the walking business they reached for a big, fat, iconic yellow book - the Yellow Pages. Every household had one, and every business was in it. "Let your fingers do the walking" was the pitch, a slogan that earned an honorable mention in the Advertising Age Top 10 Slogans of the 20th century."

In 2015, we have the luxury of having things at our fingertips in almost every area of our lives. Online study is an excellent way to let your fingers do the walking as you top off your summer investigating an area of interest, motivating your creativity to a new level or just exploring opportunities that can take you in a new direction for work or play.

Today, those more than ever it is possible to let our fingers do the walking in ways that the Yellow Pages colored pencils advertisers never dreamed of.
