THANK YOU

As the holiday season approaches, we at Big Picture Learning have been looking back at the accomplishments of our schools and students over the past year.

We are grateful for all of the support we have received from people like you.

Your generous donations make our organization's work possible and successful in so many ways.

With your help we have been able to influence the education of more than 30,000 students in the U.S., and another 5,000 students in 6 countries around the world since 1996!

You helped us forward our mission - "the education of a nation - one student at a time." Here are some inspiring examples of this:

  • You helped support our schools to produce students like Zaire Martin from MetEast High School in Camden, NJ (pictured above) who won the "Spirit of Hero" scholarship for mentoring younger students. Read about Zaire.
  • And students like those at MetWest in Oakland, CA who made a film on Global Warming that won a Student Emmy from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Student Television, and the Best Science Video from the PBS Student Reporting Lab.
  • And schools like the Washington, DC Met featured in the powerful documentary 180 Days: A Year Inside An American High School which tells the stories of the students, staff and families and was broadcast this year on PBS.  See video here.

We want to thank you for all the support you've given us.  You've helped to create great schools for students so that they can be prepared for the real world.
