Muskingum University Student Earns Scholarship from International Student Magazine

International Student Voice magazine has recognized Muskingum University sophomore Chandrika Misra with an academic scholarship for her essay on the unique experience of a college student transitioning to the United States from India.
International Student Voice magazine is dedicated to advocacy for international students studying in the United States, as well as for U.S. students studying abroad.
Chandrika, a native of New Delhi, India, is attending Muskingum to study economics, accounting and business, and is following in the footsteps of her brother, Mihir Misra '11. Read more...

Construction Begins on University Center
|
Renovation of the library is underway! The new building will span three floors and feature a two story colloquium with glass walls and fireplace which will serve as both a casual gathering space and a 75-person presentation hall. The building will also provide a new home for Muskingum's teacher preparation program including dean and faculty offices, as well as teacher education laboratories, and a learning assessment center.
The current 23,000 square foot library will be enveloped by 15,000 square feet of new construction, creating a spacious 38,000 square foot structure featuring four newly-designed facades and red-tile roof lines. The current library's interior has been demolished down to its original framing, allowing a completely new design to unfold within.
