To our stakeholders:

The deadline to respond to the SIM Health Information Technology Request for Information (RFI) has been extended until  Friday, October 2, 2015. The scope of this Request for Information (RFI) will inform a Request for Proposal (RFP) for services to be provided. The SIM Office in coordination with the designated health IT oversight entity will be the oversight and administration for the contracted services and contractors.

The SIM Office anticipates publishing a RFP in late 2015 for the project described at a high-level in this document.  The purpose of this document is to solicit interest in this work, plus any recommendations bidders may have regarding the approach to completing this work.  Any organization may submit a response to this RFI.
The goals of the SIM health information technology proposed RFP are as follows:
  • To assist in providing technical advisory services to inform the SIM HIT strategy expanding current health IT infrastructure and accelerating use of technology and information to support integrated care and health transformation initiatives.

  • To provide health IT services to expand the secure acquisition of data from health care and community data sources, secure transport, and secure reporting of information to inform clinical quality improvement and payment reform.

  • To advance Colorado's health IT capabilities for electronic clinical quality measurement reporting, analytics, and dissemination of information for population health, clinical care quality improvement, and payment reform efforts through integrating clinical data, behavioral health data, and claims data.
Please note that a response to the RFI is not required to respond to the RFP. If you have any questions please email Cindy Ward at: RFPQuestions@hcpf.state.co.us

Warmest regards,
