The deadline for the 8th Annual Top Trainer Training Excellence Awards for crane and rigging trainers in construction and heavy industry is next Friday, July 31. This prestigious award recognizes professionals who have had a positive impact on students or the work environment, encourage peer or corporate accountability, and provide quantitative or anecdotal evidence that training.
CRC Canada to Provide Overhead Crane & Rigging Accident Investigation Workshop
The 2015 Crane & Rigging Conference Canada event is more than just lectures. The Nov. 9-10 Edmonton conference includes panel discussions and interactive workshops so attendees can be engaged with crane and rigging regulators, safety experts, and consultants.
One such workshop is presented by Industrial Training International, Event Partner. This hands-on accident investigation workshop will be led by Joe Kuzar, ITI's Assistant Technical Director.
Using sketches, witness accounts, sheriff's reports, and inspection documents, participants will analyze the root cause of a major overhead crane and rigging accident, as well as the poor and contradictory operating practices that conflict with the organization's policies and the local jurisdiction's laws.
