We hope for your support for our Annual Fundraiser - 100% of the proceeds go to the Scholarships we award in May to deserving College and High School students. We have many fine prizes this year; tickets are $5 each and 5 tickets for $20. (We only sell 2,000 tickets so your odds are good!) AFF Directors will be calling members to ask for help selling tickets. Director Frederic Martin has made very helpful enhancements to the website - please note how convenient online purchases can be. Volunteers will also be selling tickets at the Vineyard Farmers Market (Shaw and Blackstone) Saturday mornings through Feb. 8th, and at La Boulagerie in Fig Garden Village Fridays and Saturdays at lunchtime.

ALLIANCE FRANCAISE SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT
In Spring 2014, the AFF will once again award scholarships to college and high school students who are studying French in the S.J. Valley. Last year we awarded four college-level scholarships and five to high school students. They were an outstanding lot. The membership can be proud of these accomplished young students.
As in the past, you may have a scholarship named in your honor, This year, the Alliance Fran�aise will award up to five high school scholarships, from $350 up to $750 each, and up to three college scholarships, from $1,000 to $1,500 each. To make it even easier, AFF is willing to accumulate and hold your donations over a period of five years until the required amount is accumulated, and then to award the scholarship.

ORPHEUS DINNER CONCERT FEB 16, 2014
Member, John S. Hord, will perform in a fundraising concert/dinner for the chamber group Orpheus. He will join three other pianists to perform Sonata for 2 pianos, 8 hands by Bedrich Smetana. Also, several works for strings by Dvorack will be performed. Please see additional information below.
