As I looked out the window on February 15th the term "organized chaos" first came to mind, but as the morning morphed from a soggy downpour into a bright blue sky with a gentle breeze, my thoughts turned to a "well organized machine."   The soggy dark morning came to life unfolding into a day that flowed seamlessly across the morning as hundreds of people filled the commons area and the streets around GEDS.  By noon the calm of a Saturday afternoon had once again engulfed the campus.   Blessings continue to shower on GEDS in the form of individuals so willing to give of their time and talent to insure that events like the 8K River Run are a great success.  Many thanks go to the 8K River Run Committee that worked for months alongside Austin Foster and Langdon Zimmer.  The organization and leadership these two ladies provided combined with the expert experience of 1st Place Sports laid the ground work for what we hope will become an annual event in support of our school.  On behalf of GEDS let me say many thanks to all who participated in this effort.
