Coalminer's Disc Golf Tournament
The Bridge City Gunners will be hosting the Coalminer Disc Golf Tournment on July 25th, 2015 at Nicholas Sheran Disc Golf Course.  All skill levels welcome.

Stanley Cup in Lethbridge 

Save the date!  The Stanley Cup is on tour and will be in Lethbridge, hometown of Chicago Blackhawk right winger, Kris Versteeg, on Monday August 3rd at the ENMAX Centre.

National Coaches Week
The Coaching Association of Canada and the provincial and territorial coaching partners are proud to present the inaugural National Coaches Week, September 19 - 27, 2015.

National Coaches Week is a week to celebrate the tremendous positive impact coaches have on athletes and communities across Canada. This week is an opportunity to recognize coaches for the integral role they play by simply saying #ThanksCoach.

 

Western Canada Summer Games    

The Western Canada Summer Games will be held in Wood Buffalo from August 7-16, 2015. There will be 2500 athletes competing, representing Canada's 4 western provinces and 3 northern territories.

The Lethbridge Sport Council would like to congratulate all the Lethbridge athletes who will be competing at the Games: Garrett McKay (Athletics), Alex Andres (Athletics), Aaron Hernandez (Athletics), Matthew Knapik (Athletics), Hannah Gibb (Basketball), Taeya Koliaska (Judo), Joel DeMaere (Judo), Keira Trotter (Judo), Kaelan Freund (Swimming), Meaghan Morter (Swimming).

SportFest 2015

Junior Little League Canadian Championships
The Junior Little League Canadian Championships will be held at Spitz Stadium.  The championships are scheduled to start on August 4 and continue through till August 14. These championships are where some of the best 13 to 15 year olds compete for gold, and the right to a to represent Canada at the Junior Little League World Series in Taylor, Michigan. Lethbridge is proud to host this prestigious event. 
Did you know that we have 2 sets of provincial/territorial flags for loan to Lethbridge sport & community groups?

Leadership SIRCuit Publication
The Leadership SIRCuit Publication is an e-journal that includes relevant articles, video tutorials, interviews and podcasts.  It is a great educational tool for all sport leaders, whether professional or volunteer.  An example of what can be found inside this edition include 'Working in the Cloud', 'Revenue Generation in Sport' and 'Online Meetings'.
