HIGHLIGHTS SINCE LAST TIME:

School Funding in 1787 and Ancestral Associates
A lottery to raise funds for a Virginia school provided names of ancestral associates.

Before I look for my French-Candian in the Drouin collection I need to do more work on him in New York State.

Is there a reason why the brother was not the bondsman on this 1865 New Brunswick marriage?

 First, Second, and Third Cousins
My grandfather and his cousin were first, second, and third cousins.

A will discovered in Chicago indicates that a relative was adopted by the family who I thought were his family of origin.

Some things to think about on the new Ancestry.com probate database.

If Someone Forwarded this Message to You
If someone forwarded this message to you--we appreciate them letting you know about our newsletter. However, we do have email distribution and other costs to cover. We don't plaster our emails with ads for genealogy companies and the like as we want a cleaner look and we know that readers get tired of seeing the same ads over and over.

We're only asking $5 a year to get the weekly update.

If you don't want to receive the weekly update after that---do nothing. If you'd like to keep getting the weekly update, use one of our two options:
  • auto renewal--your payment option will be charged automatically in a year. You can always stop the payment beforehand.
  • non-auto renewal--you will be billed and not automatically charged
Either way--you do not need a PayPal account. Just click on "pay with debit or credit card." This is the easiest and cheapest way for me to accept credit cards as a small merchant.

Thanks for your support!
