SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR GAMBLING COUNSELOR TRAINING IN NORTHERN MINNESOTA

 

If you're an alcohol or drug counselor or mental health practitioner in the northern third of Minnesota, you may have the opportunity to become a state-certified gambling counselor through the Northstar counselor scholarship program. We currently have two scholarships available for the online training offered by the University of Minnesota Duluth. If interested, please email Cathie Perrault [email protected] .

Sports betting has been in the news a lot lately. Some interesting articles we've come across include whether sports betting is a game of skill vs. a game of chance (which holds implications for expanded legalization), how attitudes on sports gambling are evolving, and what Yahoo's move into daily fantasy sports means.
