The Book of Revelation
An Introduction to the Book of Revelation: Wilson Cunha's Sunday School class began a study of the book of Revelation on Feb. 2. The study includes a  discussion of the meaning and social historical background of Apocalyptic Literature in general. The literary structure of Revelation will be explored and students will be invited to take a journey back to the 1st century historical background of Revelation. Most of the course will focus on detailed study of key chapters in the book, and the course tries to be a treat for those who like to dig deeper. The study will finish with a discussion of the theological message of Revelation for the 21st century congregation. All are more than welcome and there is still space available in the Carlton Room.

Dear Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Longview,
On behalf of the volunteers and board of directors of Blessings in a Backpack, thank you for your generous support of our organization with your gift of $8,000 on 12/26/3013.
Blessings in a Backpack is a results-oriented program. This unique program is designed to feed elementary school children whose families qualify and may not have any or enough food on the weekends. Better test scores, improved reading skills, positive behavior, improved health and increased attendance have all been attributed to the success of this program.  Donors, like you, contribute to the success of Blessings in a Backpack, which provides food for over 60,000 children each weekend. Thank you for sharing... thank you for caring.
                                                                      Sincerely, Kevin Beam CFO
Thank you so much for the generous gift at Christmas and for your commitment to support our ministry financially. The community of Christ at EPC has already been such a blessing and support to us as we start our journey to the mission field. We are so thankful that we can partner together to advance the Kingdom in Mozambique. Thank you again for your investment in our ministry.    Sincerely, Kent & Amy
