Worship this week, October 13th at 10:00am

Dr. McIvor's sermon is "Already Healed?" based on Luke 17.11-19. One day Jesus encountered ten lepers. Nine were Jews and one was a Samaritan. All of them asked him for mercy and Jesus said, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." This was how their healing could be documented. Indeed, as they went their way they were healed. Nine kept going but one turned back to thank Jesus who asked, "Where are the other nine?" Then Jesus told the one, your faith has made you well." But wasn't he already healed?

Fall Work Day

October 26th

It's that time of year again ... when we pick a day and all pitch in to help provide for the upkeep of our church. This year our Fall Work Day is scheduled for Saturday, October 26th from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Please mark your calendars and come join us. Come and pick something you're comfortable doing. If you have any specific projects you would like to see addressed, wish to personally spearhead, or have other suggestions or comment, contact Barry Fiske. There is much to do and many hands make light work!

See flyer.

Advent Devotional Booklet
Advent means "coming," and this year it begins on December 1st. The 2013 PCIS Advent Devotional booklet is coming too, and that means the opportunity for everyone to contribute a reflection to it. You may sign-up for one the 25 days of Advent in the foyer (or sign up online here). This year, you can pick any day or Scripture verse in the season even if someone else is doing it too! And artwork to adorn the pages will be encouraged as well. We're sure that once again this congregation-written booklet will be a blessing to us all as we approach the celebration of Christ's birth.
