Winter Wonderland?
Hello Fellow Parents,
Wow! What a crazy second semester we're having! The AU campus has been covered in snow since before the students returned back after their nice long break. Although the weather has not been the best, everyone seems to be taking it in stride. Our physical plant team has been working incredibly hard to clear sidewalks and parking lots with each new snow or ice event . . . and that's a lot to cover! In addition to that, when temperatures are extreme, the campus shuttle bus runs under a much expanded time frame to help get students from one point to another on campus. This week is an important one on campus, as Impact Your World Week occurs three days this week and students are challenged in their thinking and doing.
I hope you're staying warm and safe throughout this record-breaking winter season. Please know that much is being done to keep your students warm and safe as well. Even in the extremes, the AU Valley and campus really have been a beautiful winter wonderland.
Blessings to all parents who love their children.
