Grand Haven Area Convention and Visitors Bureau hosts the Grand Haven Salmon Festival - a multi-faceted festival that pays tribute to the area's bountiful waterways as a natural resource, while coinciding with the region's annual Salmon migration.

Michigan's Only Zero-Waste-To-Landfill Festival
|
While Lake Michigan salmon make their way up the Grand River, the
Grand Haven Salmon Festival is continuing their journey towards sustainability. Building a festival that incorporates composting and recycling is just the start towards one of the most sustainable festivals in Michigan. At last year's festival, 96% of the total waste was either composted or recycled.

BIG KING FISHING CONTEST
Anglers will compete in this annual tournament to see who will land this year's biggest catch. The tournament's purse is over $3,000 with first place walking away with $1,250. The biggest Chinook, Coho, Lake Trout, Steelhead or Brown Trout wins!
