Patch of the Month

The first "patch of the month" program resource is ready for you! If you haven't had a chance, take a look at the new Her Story - Laura Ingalls Wilder patch program.

This patch program was developed to encourage girls to think about the past. By exploring Her Story, girls can learn about themselves and reflect on what stories they are making today, tomorrow, and in the future. This patch program is a great tie-in with the It's Your Story - Tell It! Journey series.

Cookie Time 2014

Once again, GSMH is starting the new year with Cookie Time! The 2014 cookie line-up includes the always-popular Thin Mints, Caramel de Lites, Lemonades, Thanks A Lots, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Shortbreads, and the new Cranberry Citrus Crisp! The Cranberry Citrus Crisp is made with 9 grams of whole grain and real cranberries.

The initial order period runs from Friday, January 3, 2014 through Monday, January 20, 2014, with initial orders due to the troop leaders by Tuesday, January 21, 2014.

Plan ahead! Cookie booths and direct sales are from February 7 - March 9, 2014. Call your product program specialist starting on January 7, 2014 to reserve your cookie booth kit.

Monthly Troop Tips Emails

Have you received your monthly Troop Tips email? Once a month, you should be receiving an email that is appropriate for your troop's grade level and has helpful ideas, tips, and activities. If you have not been receiving these emails, please let your leadership and learning specialist know- she will be happy to add you to the distribution list!
