Hope is Life Foundation

Dear Friends,

As you may already know, we are working to build a six-classroom school in the town of Collette of Petion Ville, Haiti. For this project alone, we need US $12,000. Although it may be a long process, we have no doubt that we will achieve our goal to provide these children with a rewarding education.

All the work that Hope is Life Foundation has been able to accomplish over the past eight years is only through the kind and generous donations of our dearest family and friends. We sincerely request your further support to bring hope to Haiti, one child at a time.

We have initiated a campaign to raise money for the school project called Haiti Arts for Hope, in which we hope to sell paintings made by local Haitian artists. Please visit www.haitiartsforhope.com in order to view and purchase these beautiful works of art.

One hundred percent of the funds made by the purchase of these paintings will go to our efforts in Haiti.

We sincerely appreciate all your support and financial contributions that help make the dreams of young children a fruitful reality. I invite you to read the updates about our progress in supporting the education of children in Haiti by visiting www.hopeislife.org.

Haitian Art
Haitian art depicts the beauty of a resilient country, one that continues to survive despite the relentless political and environmental hardships its people have endured for centuries. The paintings shown on this website reflect the strength and joy of Haitians, portrayed in colorful scenes of daily life, landscapes and celebrations. These artists continually find a way to illustrate the spirit of the Haitian people in artistic presentations. It is a spirit demonstrated by a phrase often heard in Haitian communities-the
"joie de vivre," or joy of living.
