Please join us for Qawwali and the Spiritual Alchemy of Music, an exciting event that will celebrate the role of music in creating new cultures and identities! The event will feature Farid Ayaz and The Abu Muhammad Qawwals, a world-renowned Pakistani ensemble that combines Islamic and Indian music, and Basya Schechter, a famous Jewish singer who fuses Ashkenazic and Sephardic music.

The event will be held on Thursday, May 21 from 6:30 - 9:30 pm at the Brotherhood Synagogue located at 28 Gramercy Park South, New York, NY 10003. It is being co-hosted by The Cordoba Initiative and the Brotherhood Synagogue.
