April 6-12 is a time we honor and thank the thousands of volunteers in our country. We especially want to take time to recognize the hard work of volunteer coaches and other individuals who support youth sport. We have shared the written piece, "Letter from a Volunteer Coach" to give a bit of perspective into the challenges and joys of being a volunteer coach.

This week we will join our friends at Childhelp for the National Day of Hope Luncheon. Olympic Rower and GSD Champion Ambassador, Esther Lofgren will accompany us to this event as we gather with other individuals and organizations in the fight against child abuse.

Last week Team USA took over Washington, D.C. In addition to meeting the President and First Lady, the Olympians participated in a three-day summit designed to provide career counseling and employment networking for the athletes. We are proud to be supporters for this and other programs from the United States Olympic Committee!

During the month of March we celebrated Youth Art Month. As many of you know, the Culture, Education, Sport and Ethics Program is one which promotes healthy values in sport as well as creativity in youth. Through this program each year we receive hundreds of impressive art pieces from youth all around the world.
