Recollection
viscose jersey
We were struck by the seeming depth of this digital print on viscose jersey. A collage of bits and pieces representing various textures and moods is rendered in fiery orange, haystack and black, with highlights of gingery brown and a fabulous floral in spearmint aqua. This single knit will work up well in tops or dresses. Viscose/elastane.

We were captivated with the subtle nature of this print on viscose challis. The softly stroked whorls seem to set the tone for the energy that goes on throughout the design. The toned-down colors of teal, earthy olive, sandy tan and smudged black are a low enough contrast to the ivory white ground so as not to shout their message, but simply flow movement throughout. The more you examine the print, the more motion you sense. We envision dresses, skirts, tunics and blouses.

Sew n Tell
with Jan D
from Charlston SC
I live in tees and floaty cotton skirts in the summer here in Charleston, so when I saw the Summerhill and Pinkberry Jersey combo, I just had to make those two. I used tried and true Vogue Basic Design #8536 for the tee and Very Easy Vogue #9007 for the skirt. I like the uneven hem of the skirt and the way the luscious cotton floats when I walk. Thank you SBDF for the fantastic fabrics!
We love the uneven hem line, it looks so cool & breezy to wear!
The finest cotton, exquisite design, superb printing, this cottage garden floral imported from France meets all the standards for success! Pink shades that range from smoky to hot are surrounded with deep sage and olive foliage on a soft white ground. You will love the wonderful drape for soft folds from the shoulder or waist for blouses, camis, or dresses.
