Don't miss Life According to Sam at the Boston Jewish Film Festival in Foxboro! (At this time there are only Rush Tickets available, which means you can only get tickets the night of the screening; click HERE for more details.) The film will show at 7:00PM & 7:10PM, Monday, November 11 at the Showcase Cinema de Lux Patriot Place.  Dr. Scott Berns, Dr. Leslie Gordon and Sam Berns will participate in a Q&A following the screening.

PRF founders Dr. Leslie Gordon, Dr. Scott Berns and their son (my nephew!) Sam are featured in this 90-minute film about Progeria, a mother's fight for a cure, and how one family lives life to its fullest despite their difficult situation.  Directed by Oscar-winning Sean Fine and Andrea Nix Fine of Fine Films, the film made its US debut in January at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. Life According to Sam has also won major film festival awards, including the Audience Award at the Nantucket, Woods Hole and Newburyport Film Festivals, "Best of Fest" at AFIDOCS, and the Norman Vaughan Indomitable Spirit Award at Mountainfilm.
