Dear Friends,

Each summer I have provided a few reading suggestions for members of region churches.  Given the tensions over race made evident in our country by recent tragic events I felt it fitting to focus on a few books which might help advance the conversations that continue to be necessary.  Of course, simply reading a book will not bridge the racial divide but perhaps the insights gained through reading might prompt questions, conversations and understanding. Co-Recipient of 2013 Sparrowk President's Award


VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 7/10/15)-Dr. Andrew "Andy" Davison died on Sunday, July 5, in Madison, Wisconsin. Andrew and Beverly Davison were named as the 2013 recipients of the Cora and John Sparrowk President's Award, presented to them on behalf of the Board of General Ministries at Mission Summit 2013, held June 21-23, 2013, in Overland Park, Kansas.
