Congratulations to the Class of 2014-2015
Saturday June 20th, celebrated 32 new graduates from the MEM program

The graduation was held on a beautiful afternoon with over 150 graduates, family, and faculty in attendance. We were pleased to have Shahid Ahmed, an MEM alum, as the Keynote Speaker for the main McCormick Masters Recognition Ceremony.  Shahid also gave the opening toast for the MEM graduation reception.  Professor Don McNeeley gave the farewell speech sending forth the graduates to continue their success

Attend Our Annual MEM Fall Alumni Tailgate
PriSim and MEM partner together for their annual tailgate on September 12



 

Please join us for our PriSim/MEM Tailgate on September 12, 2015, as the Northwestern Wildcats take on the Eastern Illinois Panthers! There will be food, drinks, games and baggo. Invite your family too as you mingle with other MEM alumni, faculty and current students. The tailgate will be from 12-2:30 p.m. with the game starting at 3 p.m.
 
The MEM Program will be reserving 100 seats for this event and tickets will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Please ensure you are able to attend before you RSVP

MEM Partners with Techweek Chicago 2015
The MEM program sponsored a booth at Techweek Chicago on June 25-26

MEM Associate Director, Stephen Tilley, along with several other McCormick Professional Masters Programs sponsored
Techweek Chicago 2015 .   Thousands of attendees filled the Merchandise Mart to learn more about what Chicago has to offer in the world of technology.   Attendees participated in a company/career expo, tours, partner events, panels and happy hours throughout the week.  Students and alumni interested in entrepreneurship, technology, and networking should consider attending this high energy event next year.

MEM Student Spotlight

Carlos D. Gomez

Carlos is a 27-year-old current student from Bogota, Colombia. He attended the Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia for his undergraduate degree. He is currently a logistics supervisor at PepsiCo. He enjoys riding his bike to work, playing organized soccer and volleyball and traveling internationally with his wife, Natalia. Also, his favorite technology companies are Google and Amazon. Carlos' advice to future students is that, "This is a great program to take your career to the next level. From every class, I have been able to take something that is applicable to my job. Becoming part of this MEM program will also help you grow your professional network."
