For the purposes of this webinar, Hopper will use Adobe Premiere Pro. However the fundamentals you will learn will help to use all video editing programs. If you have used Premiere before, this webinar is intended to get you comfortable with it's features to make you more productive in it. If not, it will give you a head start on it and other video editing programs plus:
  • Enhance your multimedia skills
  • Help you to understand the language of video editing
  • Add a new skill to your arsenal of multimedia tools

  • How to organize and name your files
  • The essentials of capturing media, and editing and trimming your video clips.
  • Concepts such as rendering, capture and timecode will be discussed.

About the speaker

Professor James F. Hopper is the current Chair of Web and Digital Communications at Johnson County Community College, KS where he recently introduced a Web Technologies Associate of Applied Science degree, focusing on mobile web technologies. Professor Hopper is the first faculty member to be the recipient of a student grant in his name in the history of the college. He has taught at JCCC for 15 years where he introduces the web curious to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Adobe software, and other web technologies. On a personal note he is the father of four beautiful and talented daughters.
