Acceptance Test Driven Development

May 12, 2015 6:30 - 8:30 PM

Speaker:
Adam Satterfield, Vice President of Quality Assurance at Bettercloud

Summary:  If you've spent any time in a development environment, you've probably felt pain points: For example; Acceptance tests don't start until sometime after the start of the sprint, leading to a spike in effort while testers are furiously trying to understand the functionality. QA wastes critical testing time figuring out what they're supposed to be testing in the middle of the sprint. This presentation - Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) - Covers the core fundamentals of ATDD which include; Creating Acceptance Criteria, Defining Acceptance Tasks and using Automation to enhance test coverage.

AQAA Members at 2015 Quest Conference

A number of AQAA members attended the 2015 Quest Conference last month. Here are some of their thoughts.

I think the conference was professional, good information, and great for networking.  I hope to get to the Chicago conference next year.
Susan Loth, QA Analyst at 22squared

It was a great event, very informative and full of learning. Folks were very knowledgeable and willing to share their learnings and experiences. Great topics in various sessions and Expo talks. Will surely attend next year too.
Sunil Segal, Managing Partner TechArcis

The Quest conference has more of a family feel. It is much more personable than the larger conferences. I will be at QUEST 2016 in Chicago.
Ken  Riley, Membership Co-Chair AQAA

QAI QUEST 2015 was a great experience.  I attended the 2-Day Manager's Workshop, presentations on the leadership trek, presentations on test automation and the expo.  Made several new friends and many networking opportunities.  This is the third year I have attended QUEST and I plan to continue attending in years to come
Joyce Reid, Vice President AQAA

AQAA was proud to be the host chapter for the QAI Quest 2015 Conference in Atlanta. We had a great experience learning, connecting, sharing, and celebrating all things QA. Check out our pictures from the event  here:
